We would like to alert everyone of an incident that took place at the pool at 3:00am Sunday morning. Several individuals that appeared to be teenagers gained access to the pool by climbing over the fence. It does not appear that any damage was done inside of the fence, however they did vandalize a corner of the fence to help them exit the property. Some of this activity was recorded on the video surveillance system, but they did a good job of concealing their identities with hoodies. Soon after they left, a BH resident reported seeing these individuals near their residence carrying a white stick. That stick was the section of our pool fence that they broke and took with them. The Montville Police Department visited the site this afternoon, took a report, and viewed the video. They will patrol the neighborhood more often, and are asking all residents to be on alert for any unusual activity. We are adding additional cameras and lighting as a deterrent. Nobody should ever be in the pool area other than during our normal business hours. Without lifeguards present, someone attempting to use the pool could find themselves in a dangerous situation. We are all neighbors and need to look out for each other.
