We are pleased to announce that we will be opening for the swimming season on Saturday, May 28, 2022, weather permitting. As in the past, we will be open from 10:30am to 7:30pm seven days per week. We have just completed major masonry repairs around the coping tiles and the blue tiles. We have upgraded the original chemical grinders to the latest digital equipment for accuracy and reliability. All of the oldest furniture has been removed and replaced with new furniture that will match what we already have.
Most of our employees will be returning, but you will see a few new faces. Phil Brewer continues as the lifeguard manager and he also expertly maintains the chemical balance in the pools. Mackenzie Durken is graduating from Kent State and will be seeking full time employment to use her new degree. Kylie Baker has become our new Administrative Manager and is being assisted by Mackenzie during a transition period. Many of you will know Kylie as she has been one of our lifeguards for the past few years. We thank Mackenzie for the wonderful job she has done and wish her well with her new pursuits.
We will continue to stock your favorite beverages and snacks, and they will once again be available at very reasonable prices.
We encourage birthday parties or other special celebrations. We hope to see you at the pool this year and promise to do our part to assure a safe and enjoyable swimming experience.
