Tennis Court Upgrades

We are pleased to announce that we have contracted with Site Technologies to make significant improvements at the tennis courts. The existing tennis net posts were not properly installed in a concrete footer. This has caused the posts to lean inward, pulling out of the asphalt, and cracking the court surface. Starting sometime the week of November 1, 2021, work will commence to excavate to existing posts, prepare new concrete footers, and install top quality Edwards round post posts with brass winding components. They will also install new Edwards tennis nets, and center fasteners with white straps. These are high quality nets currently in use at Wimbledon, and will allow us to keep them up all year long and not remove them in the winter. Once the work is started, the courts will be unavailable for use for 3-4 days. Surface patching and painting will be done in the spring of 2022 as the weather permits. This will be a very nice improvement to the courts!
