We are pleased to inform you that we have received our pool opening guidance from The State of Ohio Department of Health along with The Medina County Department of Health. Therefore, the swimming pool will open on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 at 10:30am. This is the first day that the state is allowing pools to open. Daily pool hours will be posted on the website. The hours may change periodically due to weather, safety, or maintenance needs. Please check the website and Facebook page frequently for updates or announcements.
Our team is busy preparing the facility for the season. We have several matters that require support from outside vendors. These businesses are just re-opening and are behind schedule. Some maintenance and concessions may not be in place by opening day, but be assured that we are working to complete all of this as soon as possible.
We are performing deep cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the property. We will implement enhanced cleaning procedures throughout each day. Furniture will be staged to provide for required social distancing. We will supply plenty of soap, hand sanitizer, and other cleaning products as needed, and you will find the supplies throughout the property.
We do request your help in complying with state and local regulations. For example, stay at home if you are sick or not feeling well. Be aware of social distancing requirements in the swimming pool, on the concrete decks, grassy areas, or any other part of the property. You must bring your own face mask and wear it at all times unless you are in the swimming pool. Do not gather in groups any larger than ten people, and if possible do not gather in groups with other households. We encourage all swimmers to use the outdoor showers prior to entering the pool. Please use the soap and hand sanitizer that we will provide throughout the facility. Good health and safety should be everyone's priority.
Many of you already know Mackenzie Durken who is our administrative assistant. She is taking charge of signing everyone up for the season and issuing ID cards. The procedure will be similar to last year, and Mackenzie will be using the website, Facebook, and Twitter to inform you of when she will be at the facility and how you will receive your ID card. Please check the website and Facebook page frequently for updated information. Also, keep in mind that you must be current with the payment of your recreational fees.
We thank you in advance for helping us to comply with all state and local regulations. For more detailed information you can visit www.Ohio.gov. We are looking forward to a fun filled season with many great memories.
